Mr. Brian Deltus Wallace, 35, of Mayo, FL, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brian was born June 19, 1981 in San Angelo Texas to Mike D. Wallace and Debra Jean Brewster Wallace and has lived in Mayo for the last 5 years, after moving from Tampa, FL. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked for the past 2 years as a Gunsmith for Daddy's Gun Shop in Mayo. Brian was a member of the Mayo Masonic Lodge and the NRA. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, grilling for his family and friends, and most of all, spending time with his boys. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra J. Wallace.
He is survived by; his wife of 14 years, Michelle Lynn Wallace; his 2 sons, Chase D. Wallace, and Seth D. Wallace, all of Mayo, his father, Mike D. Wallace, of Mayo, 1 brother, Mike D. Wallace Jr., of Demonte, IN, his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Faye Wallace, his maternal grandfather, Earl T. Brewster, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday February 26, 2017 at Bethel Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Rutland and Bro. Jim Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Creek Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chase and Seth's college funds.
