Fred Lindsey, 78, Hatchbend, FL passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. The life long resident of Hatchbend was a Vietnam War Veteran while serving in the U.S. Navy which he served in for 20 years. He was also a farmer and a member of Hatchbend Baptist Church. Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife: Carolyn Livingston Lindsey, Hatchbend FL; two daughters: Teresa (Chuck) Bell, Elberton, GA, M. Michelle Lindsey, Palm Coast, FL; two sons: Jay (Sherry) Lindsey, Bell, FL, Lee ( Shannon) Lindsey, Hatchbend, FL; two step-sons: Newt (Kimberlee) Livingston, Perry, FL, Jason (Debbie) Livingston, Macclenny, FL; sister: Rhonda Spotts, Ocala, FL; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Marilyn Daniels Lindsey. Services were held at 11 am Monday, August 8th at Hatchbend Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
